This twilight session will look at ways to prepare yourself and your students for the upcoming exam season. Topics in the session will include from practical to paper and how the questions reflect the practical skills as well as supporting the extended writing.鈥� It will be delivered by 海角社区 Education Consultant, Dave Waistnidge. Dave taught chemistry up to A level/IB for well over thirty years, being 鈥楬ead of 海角社区鈥� for most of that time. He has co-authored several A level textbooks and revised/evaluated chemistry resources for both publishers and the 海角社区. In addition, he has been an examiner in chemistry, initially at GCSE level, but for the past nearly twenty years, as Principal examiner for one of the exam boards, writing A level chemistry papers. He recently retired and took on the role of chemistry consultant for STEM/RSC, working mainly in the SW, where he has run several courses.
